It is a quote attributed to Ernestine Ulmer, an American writer born in 1925, that his middle child, a son, has lived by since birth. However, he suspected his sweet teeth had little to do with a philosophy of life but instead a life choice "Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first." We all love this quote. After all, doesn't everybody want dessert before eating anything else?
So what does this mean? Well, just what it says! We love dessert, right? So that's essentially the meaning. Do what you love, whether spending time with family and friends, reading a book, going on an adventure, or even eating dessert! We never know when our life will be over. It could be tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, next year, or in 100+ years!

That's why we need to forget about the causalities, the routines, and everything and just focus on living the way we love to live. Do live life lovingly.

Life's uncertain- Eat dessert first

We believe in eating dessert first. Life is short and uncertain to delay what we would like.

We don't know what's in store for us in the future, but we have a sense of where we're at today. Chocolate can eventually cause us to gain weight; however, right now, we are just looking for that soft, warm melting cake glaring out of the restaurant window.

We shouldn't be worried about the endless possibilities since the future is unknowable. We would like to take a look back on our lives without regrets. But we can't achieve that without having dessert first!
