Goddess Brahmacharini is extremely radiant and majestic.This Devi is the unmarried form of Goddess Parvati born at the home of Daksha Prajapati.She holds a rosary in her right hand and a Kamandalu in her left, having taken up a severe form of penance to attain Lord Shiva as her consort. 

Devi Brahmacharini resides at Swadisthan chakra, and when she is worshipped with sheer reverence, she helps you to get rid of negativity and blesses you with prosperity, happiness, peace, wisdom, and success. She blesses us with great emotional strength, perseverance, tremendous will power and confidence in the most trying times of our lives.

Shiva represents the “soul”(self) and Goddess Durga represents the “mind”. With self-control and penance, the mind conquers the self to understand our true essence, just like how Devi Brahmacharini through rigorous penance united with Lord Shiva.
